There are many excellent support resources accessible via the internet that can connect you with caring individuals who are qualified to help. Speak to a Macquarie Park Family Consultant, use the ‘Would you like us to call you?’ button, call your chosen funeral director and/or sign on to your local Bereavement Support Program or contact any of the following, as you never need to cope alone!

Is an independent, not for profit public benevolent institution and the largest provider of grief and bereavement education in Australia.

National Association for Loss and Grief (NSW) - www.nalag.org.au
NALAG’s primary objective is to build the capacity of individuals, organisations and communities in order to enhance well-being following loss, grief, bereavement and trauma.

Lifeline - www.lifeline.org.au
Anyone can call Lifeline on 13 11 14. Their nondenominational counselling service respects everyone’s right to be heard, understood and cared for. In addition, Lifeline can put you in touch with other support services available in your community.

Grief Link - www.grieflink.asn.au
GriefLink provides information on many aspects of death-related grief, books and videos.

Your Family Consultant can also provide information about Macquarie Park’s support facilities, the applicable areas in the cemetery for the deceased’s interment, chapel facilities, and even help you with the finer points of funeral etiquette.
